If you’re supporting an AAC communicator or communicating with AAC yourself, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
Your local Liberator Consultant works alongside you, getting to know what matters in your everyday communication.
Get ongoing, practical support — shaped around you, over time.
Your consultant takes time to get to know you — your goals, your context, and what matters for your communication. From there, they offer proactive, practical support you can come back to at any point.
Over time, your consultant becomes a consistent point of support — a person who understands your communication context and helps you notice what’s working, where to build next, and how to keep moving forward.
Support is shaped around you. We partner with the people involved in communication — including AAC communicators, families, educators, clinicians, and support teams — so support is consistent across everyday environments. Our role is different to clinical supervision or speech pathology. Instead, we focus on practical AAC implementation — supporting you to apply strategies, use your system with confidence, and keep building over time.
This could include support with device set-up and training, help during a trial or big transitions, guidance with funding and the NDIS, and advice on training opportunities.
Feel confident from day one.
We’ll work alongside you to get things set up, so your system feels right from the start – and stay with you as you use it in everyday life, so your AAC becomes practical, manageable, and something you can rely on.
Make your trial time count.
We’re here to support you throughout your trial so you can understand what works, what needs adjusting –and what feels right for communication in your everyday settings.
Navigate funding with clarity and confidence.
Organising funding and NDIS requirements can feel overwhelming – but you don’t have to figure it out alone.
We’ll help you understand your options, talk through next steps, and make things more manageable — so you can stay focused on what matters: communication.
Build skills that last beyond each session.
We’ll support you to develop your AAC knowledge and put strategies into practice in every day life – across home, school, therapy, and community settings. Together, we’ll focus on what works for you, helping communication grow in everyday moments — not just in sessions.
Support can include free access to learning tools like AAC Language Lab and Realize Language.
Stay supported as things change.
Get support through milestones and transitions as goals, environments, or communication needs evolve — helping maintain continuity over time.
Because communication keeps evolving, your support should keep up with it.
Get the right support, right when you need it.
Questions don’t always wait for your next session – and you don’t have to, either.
You can access ongoing email and technical support for your device any time things come up, so you can stay confidently connected.
