Liberator Consultant Team Expands
The Liberator consultant team expands with the introduction of Peta Booth who will be supporting Queensland, Delara kapadia in Western Australia and Emily Swanson in South Australia & Tasmania.
Peta is a Speech Pathologist based in Brisbane, providing face to face and remote support for Liberator. Peta enjoys supporting individuals to find their ideal communication solution, and assisting support networks to maximise their skills in AAC. Peta brings experience from supporting individuals with complex communication needs across various settings, in both Australia and the UK.
Delara is a Speech Pathologist based in Perth. She has worked extensively with children and adults with complex communication needs in various community and education settings. Delara has provided direct AAC services as well as supported other therapists to prescribe communication devices that meet the needs of the individual and their family. Most recently Delara has provided training and consultation to therapists all across Western Australia. Delara is passionate about helping individuals with disability find their voice through AAC, and training communication partners so that they have the confidence and knowledge to support AAC.
Emily is a Speech Pathologist based in South Australia. Emily brings a wealth of AAC experience to the Liberator team after working alongside some of Australia's most experienced AAC clinicians. Emily has worked at large disability service providers, worked as the senior Speech Pathologist at a private practice and runs her own private clinic.
