Participants will learn about:

• Considerations and tools for AAC assessment
• Using the SETT framework
• Feature matching with hands-on exploration of different language systems
• Goal setting
• Foundational AAC implementation strategies
• Practical strategies and tools for implementing AAC in different environments
• Supporting communication partners
• Data collection and reviewing progress
• Morning tea, lunch & afternoon tea will be provided. Please email qld@liberator.net.au with dietary requirements by 16th April.

This training is designed for Speech Pathologists supporting AAC users.

This is a face to face training events held over 6 hours. This session will not be recorded or offered online.
