It’s time to share your stories! 

We’re excited to announce something special – the Liberator AAC Community Calendar Competition for 2026.  

This isn’t just about creating a calendar. It’s about celebrating the incredible diversity, creativity, and achievements of AAC communicators across Australia and beyond. 

What We’re Looking For 

We want to see your world through your eyes. Whether you’re an AAC communicator, family member, speech pathologist, educator, or part of our broader community, we’re inviting you to share: 

• Photos that tell your story – everyday moments, achievements, adventures, or anything that represents your communication journey 
• Artwork and creative pieces – drawings, digital art, photography, or any creative expression 
• Moments of connection – showing how communication brings people together 
• Celebrations of achievement – big or small, every milestone matters 
• Your daily life – the real, authentic experiences that make up your world 

How Your Submission Could Be Featured 

We’ll select submissions to feature across our 2026 wall calendar: 

• 12 monthly features showcasing different stories and experiences 
• Cover feature highlighting the diversity of our community 
• High-quality digital versions available for the whole community, with printed versions posted to our winners! 

What This Means to Us 

At Liberator, we believe everyone has stories worth sharing.  

Your submissions to the calendar competition will help us: 

• Celebrate the vibrant creativity of our community 
• Show the world the real lives and achievements of AAC communicators 
• Create connections across our diverse community 
• Provide representation for others on their communication journey 

Competition Details 

Who Can Enter	Anyone connected to our AAC community – AAC communicators, families, speech pathologists, educators, therapy centres, schools, and disability support services
What to Submit	– High-resolution photos or digital artwork (minimum 300 DPI, maximum 25MB)  – Brief description of your submission (up to 150 words)  – Information about yourself/your story (optional but encouraged!)
Submission Deadline	September 30, 2025
