Participants will learn about:

• Considerations and tools for AAC assessment
• Using the SETT framework
• Feature matching with hands-on exploration of different language systems
• Goal setting
• Foundational AAC implementation strategies
• Practical strategies and tools for implementing AAC in different environments
• Supporting communication partners
• Data collection and reviewing progress

This training is designed for:

• Assessment and Implementation full day training is designed for Speech Pathologists supporting AAC users
• Implementation for AAC half day training is designed for Speech Pathologists, Parents, Teachers, Support Workers, Allied Health Professionals 

This is a face to face training event held over 3 hours or 6 hours. These sessions will not be recorded or offered online.
