Considerations for Feature Matching | February 24
60-minute Online Training
Unsure which AAC device to trial? This FREE training will help you narrow down the right device for a trial.
Join us for this practical, evidence-based session designed to guide you through the feature matching process – helping you identify and compare AAC systems.
Choosing the right AAC system starts with understanding the communicator’s needs. Through a comprehensive assessment of skills and abilities – and considering the tasks they’ll use the device for – we can identify which features are essential and which are highly desirable. This training will guide you through matching hardware, software, and other considerations for the communicator’s needs, before you submit a device trial request.
In this session, you’ll learn how to:
- Describe key features
- Apply information collected during the consideration process to prioritise features that match the needs of the individual
- Explore Liberator’s feature matching checklist
- Apply the feature matching process to a case study example
