Interested in the LAMP therapy approach? 

Join us for this comprehensive two-day workshop on Language Acquisition through Motor Planning (LAMP) – a therapeutic approach for supporting AAC communicators. 

LAMP is designed to give individuals a method of expressing themselves through a speech generating device. The LAMP approach combines readiness to learn, joint engagement, consistent and unique motor patterns, auditory signals and natural consequences to support language connections.  

The goal is to enable everyone to express themselves freely in any situation.  

This hands-on workshop provides a thorough foundation in the LAMP methodology with practical implementation strategies. 

You will learn how to: 

  • Understand communication processes in autism and the benefits of LAMP  
  • Develop readiness to learn and shared focus  
  • Use consistent and unique motor patterns  
  • Implementation strategies for teaching AAC
  • Analyse communication treatment efficacy 
  • Get Hands-on practice using LAMP Words for Life® on a range of communication devices
