LAMP Therapy Online Training | December 2025
3 x 2-Hour Sessions — Tuesdays December 2nd, 9th & 16th, 2025

Learn more about the LAMP approach for AAC therapy.
This comprehensive online training explores LAMP (Language Acquisition through Motor Planning) – a proven approach for supporting AAC communicators.
LAMP is a therapeutic approach designed to support people who are nonspeaking or have complex communication needs. The approach works by combining natural language learning and unique movement patterns. LAMP was originally developed for autistic people, but can be adapted for anyone needing communication support.
This hands-on workshop provides a thorough foundation in the LAMP methodology with practical implementation strategies.
Led by Liberator AAC specialists, this dynamic 3-session workshop will examine the core components of LAMP therapy, including readiness to learn, joint engagement, and developing consistent motor patterns for independent communication.
By the End of This Workshop, You’ll Be Able To:
- Define the role of readiness to learn and shared focus in AAC implementation
- Explain the importance of motor patterning for developing communication automaticity
- Examine multisensory convergence and its impact on speech and language development
- Implement effective strategies for teaching AAC
- Analyse communication treatment efficacy and modify AAC systems accordingly
- Use appropriate prompting and modelling techniques to develop independent communication
