Join us for this comprehensive two-day workshop on Language Acquisition through Motor Planning (LAMP) – a proven approach for supporting AAC communicators. 

LAMP is designed to give individuals a method of expressing themselves through a speech generating device. The approach works by combining how we naturally learn language with specific movement patterns. It has had particular impact for autistic people, but has also proved to benefit anyone needing communication support.  

The goal is to enable everyone to express themselves freely in any situation.  

This hands-on workshop provides a thorough foundation in the LAMP methodology with practical implementation strategies. 

You will learn how to: 

• Understand communication processes in autism and the benefits of LAMP  
• Develop readiness to learn and shared focus  
• Create consistent and unique motor patterns  
• Implement effective supports and strategies  
• Analyse communication efficacy and setting appropriate goals  
• Get Hands-on practice using LAMP Words for Life on a range of communication devices
