What This Means for Our Community

This recognition shines a spotlight on the incredible work happening across the AAC industry. As Sarah Wilds, PRC-Saltillo CEO, shared:

“This honour not only reflects our ongoing commitment to inclusive communication, but it also shines a spotlight on the augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) industry as a whole.”

At Liberator, we’re proud to be part of this mission alongside our colleagues here in Australia and internationally across our PRC-Saltillo family in the U.S., UK, Canada, and Germany.

Together, we’re working to help individuals overcome communication barriers and make the world more accessible for everyone.

Recognition That Matters

Forbes’ new Accessibility 100 list, announced on June 17, 2025, celebrates leading global innovators advancing accessibility across industries – from consumer products and software to education, AI-powered robotics, sports, travel, and workplace solutions.

The list features changemakers from over 15 countries, helping raise awareness about the importance of accessibility and the powerful innovations driving it forward.

For this list, Forbes defines “Accessibility” as software, devices, and services that allow people with disabilities to have access to information, content, public spaces, and experiences. The list was compiled through interviews with more than 400 experts, along with an expert advisory panel.

Our Continued Commitment

This recognition energises us to keep pushing forward in our mission here at Liberator Australia. We’re committed to developing AAC tools, technologies, and support systems that help keep the conversation going across Australia.

Every day, we work alongside speech pathologists, families, and AAC communicators to find the right communication solutions. Whether it’s through our device trials, personalised training, or ongoing support, we’re here to assist you in your communication journey.

Looking Forward Together

Being recognised alongside other accessibility innovators is both humbling and inspiring. It reminds us why we do what we do – because everyone has a voice, and everyone should feel heard and understood.

Thank you to all the speech pathologists, families, and AAC communicators who trust us to be part of your journey. Your experiences and insights help shape everything we do.
