What it's like getting tattoo... with cerebral palsy!

I thought I would blog about a getting a tattoo as for most people its a easy thing to do but not when you have cerebral

palsy with uncontrollable movement.

I had my first tattoo done a few years ago I got my auntys name on my wrist because she had just passed away

and I had always wanted a tattoo but wasn't sure what I wanted so it was the perfect thing to do.

Jess Tattoo

I remember I had to email (using my device) about five different places until I found one that said yes thank god as everybody else thought it was too much of a risk because of my movements which I understand but still felt frustrated , It took three people holding me down but I got it done in the end.

My 2nd tattoo was done just last month and it was a lot easier finding somebody to do it however they talked to me like

I have a intellectual disability or they just talk to who I'm with which is nothing new but still annoying.

this makes me frustrated because I used my communication device to explain to them what tattoo I wanted however they still

didn't understand how to interact with me . They didn't do a very good job so I went somewhere else and they were amazing

they talked to me normaly, they took their time, they were cheap and they did a great job I would go back to them for sure

thanks Jess
